Orthopaedic safety shoes
If the desired effect cannot be achieved with semi-orthopaedic adjustments and/or insole, EMMA SAFETY FOOTWEAR manufactures individual orthopaedic safety shoes according to the specifications of orthopaedic shoemakers. There are six basic models of uppers to choose from (see below), which can be adapted to suit the patient: for example, eyelets can be replaced by hooks or lacing can be replaced by Velcro fasteners and additional ankle padding is possible. All models are available with a Vibram rubber shell sole as well as shoes with a rubber sole made in a flexible manner.
EMMA SAFTEY FOOTWEAR shoes with shell soles are lighter because they use an aluminum ATZ toe cap and the shell sole is not completely solid. Visually, these work safety shoes resemble the ready-to-wear models. If the shoe lasts and footbeds are not suitable for a shell sole, we recommend the flexible manner. Here, the shoe technician can create an ideal fit without having to compromise. As long as EMMA materials in accordance with the guidelines are used, the shoe retains its certification in accordance with the European safety standard EN ISO 20345:2011.
